At the Royal College of Healthcare our priority is providing students with high quality training to help them find success in a meaningful career in aged and disability care. That’s why we provide a range of funding opportunities to support students’ education and training.
Tuition fees vary and are based on a number of different factors such as nominal study hours, qualification level and course type. The student fees as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. You will receive a statement of fees once your application for enrolment has been processed. You, your employer or another third party can pay your tuition fee.
Queensland Government Funding
The Queensland Government invests in training based on industry advice to provide Queenslanders with the skills they need to gain meaningful and sustainable employment through the provider of their choice. Government funding is directed to minimise skills shortages, focus on training for jobs that are in demand in our critical industries, and increase the number of Queenslanders with formal postschool qualifications. The Queensland Government has developed a resource to help you research your training options, compare training providers and clearly explain your rights as a consumer. This resource entitled ‘Training Consumer Tips’ can be accessed at https://training.qld.gov.au/training/courses/studentguide/tips
You will be required to complete an employment survey within 3 months of completing or withdrawing from your qualification. Results of this survey are reported to the Queensland Government. You can access and complete this survey on-line. When accessing Queensland Government subsidised training, you will be required to pay a cocontribution fee unless you are eligible for Fee Free Year 12 training or school based trainee. This fee is outlined in our fee schedule above. If you are accessing a government subsidised training place you may be requested to participate in a National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) survey, Annual student outcome survey or give feedback to the Department for a review, audit or investigation purposes.
